Heading into the festive season, No More Tears Animal Rescue shares their hopes for every resident and their furry friends.
No More Tears Animal Rescue volunteer Clarisse Kruger shared a heartfelt message of care and compassion as the festive season approaches.
The team, along with every furry friend currently in their care, extends warm wishes of Merry Christmas and a joyful New Year to the entire community. They also thank supporters for their ongoing kindness, generosity and dedication throughout the year.
However, this season of celebration also brings important reminders. Fireworks and loud festivities can cause extreme fear and distress for animals, according to volunteer Clarisse Kruger.
“The public is urged to be vigilant and responsible by ensuring pets are safely indoors during evenings when firework displays are common. Simple steps like closing windows, turning on the TV or radio, and keeping pets secure can prevent many animals from running off in panic,” she advised.
Clarisse also reassured the community that they will remain available for emergencies throughout the festive period.
“Anyone who encounters an animal in distress or needs urgent assistance can reach out for support. We currently have a number of loving dogs seeking forever homes. These dogs have been rehabilitated and are ready to start a new chapter with families who can offer them the love they deserve. Interested adopters are encouraged to contact No More Tears directly, following the standard adoption process to ensure each dog is placed in a safe and suitable home,” she said.
This festive season, No More Tears Animal Rescue reminds everyone that compassion, responsibility, and awareness can save lives.
“All animals that have endured abuse, neglect, or abandonment deserve a second chance. With patience, compassion, and the right home, they can learn to trust again, to love again, and to live the happy lives they were always meant to have,” Clarisse concluded.
